Playa Jaco

 

 

One of the most developed towns on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast and NOW COSTA RICA'S FASTEST GROWING BEACH TOWN, Playa Jaco has many conveniences, including restaurants, night life, shopping, large grocery stores, emergency medical services, pharmacies, new medical clinic, post office, and hotels. You will reach Playa Jaco via a 2 hour scenic drive through the mountains from the International Airport Juan Santamaria, in San Jose, which will soon be an hour drive with the delivery of the new highway.  Playa Jaco has recently gained popularity as it is the closest beach to San Jose.  With the completion of the new highway, Jaco is only 60 minutes from the capital and the airport!                                      

 The Central Pacific Coast is a booming real estate market, as is the Gold Coast in Guanacaste, the North Pacific of Costa Rica. Although, in comparison our benefit to residents in the Central Pacific is the infrastructure of good roads, quick access to quality medical care, green tropical forest year round, and proximity to the largest city in Costa Rica.  Jaco also boasts beautiful cinnamon beaches with fantastic waves for the surf enthusiasts!
